There is an intriguing anecdote behind the title of this particular painting. During the creative process, the title itself literally emerged in my studio, in the most unexpected way...

In one of the short process videos I shared on social media, some perceptive viewers noticed the figure of a mermaid subtly appearing amidst my lines, unbeknownst to me. I was pleasantly surprised to make this discovery and it left no doubts in my mind that I had been visited by the muse, the nymph herself. As the painting progressed, more lines were added and gradually concealed her presence.

Nevertheless, I am certain that the nymph will forever dance among the graceful waves of my artistic expression.
