A few thoughts from the artist.
It was incredibly hard for me to come up with a title for this painting. I literally spent hours just staring at it. Subsequently, I was able to discern the Greek word ΘΥΕΛΛA (Thyella), which means storm, by physically reading the forms created by the crashing waves.
I could see that the picture had picked its title on its own right away and no other title could feel more suitable.
