I painted Four Seas as a way to explore the many moods of the ocean within a single frame. The composition is divided into four horizontal bands, each capturing a different expression of the sea, from soft and serene to wild and powerful. I wanted to show how the sea constantly changes, even in the same moment, and how each layer tells its own emotional story.

The top section is a calm blue wave rolling in, while the one below it crashes with more force and intensity. The third section feels darker, more dramatic—like a storm is nearby—and the bottom part is where the water gets churned and foamy, almost reaching out to the viewer. Painting this was like capturing four different voices of the same sea, and it reminds me of how complex and alive nature really is.
