"Silence" was a painting born during the 2020 pandemic. It is a more personal painting, meaning it was created for more personal reasons.

It was created as a response to all the controversial information, all the doubt, the talk, the numbers, the fear and social isolation. At such times, all I wished for was the silence of the ocean. The moment when we are below the surface of the sea and all sounds are blurred and we are hypnotized by the infinitive turquoise of the underwater horizon.

I felt the need to relive this feeling by creating my own refuge underwater, the only place to find peace.
