Waterdance started with my deep fascination for the surface of the sea. I found myself trying to paint every ripple and reflection, completely drawn into the patterns water makes as it moves. What began as a study of light and motion slowly turned into an abstract expression of the ocean’s rhythm. Each brushstroke follows the gentle flow, capturing the energy and calm of the sea.

The horizon is placed high on the canvas, giving space for the layers of water to stretch below. Near the bottom, the ripples soften into darker, deeper tones that suggest the sea floor. I used shades of blue, turquoise, and deep navy to build a sense of depth and mystery. Waterdance is a modern ocean painting that celebrates the quiet power of nature through color, movement, and light.
