The theme of this painting is rather familiar to me. It is another attempt of mine to capture one single moment; the moment a wave crashes, the moment that creates space and time and is forever gone

The use of light, the implication of wind, the confusing motion and lack of perspective, all enhance and power of nature which is the subject of my work.

​What makes this particular piece even more special to me is the use of pure, fine linen which turned into a canvas with a centuries old preparation recipe. The strength and endurance of colors as well as the natural glow and feeling are truly remarkable. The process itself is becoming another source of inspiration.
