This painting underwent a significant transformation from its initial conception to its final form.

Initially, I had a specific plan in mind based on logic. I intended to create a web of straight lines , which would form a scenery in the process. However, the unexpected loss of a close friend made me change my viewpoint. Emotions took over and suddenly I felt that my painting was somehow "too noisy". I decided to tone down the chaos in the painting by adding layers of transparent paint and creating a hazy horizon blending into the clouds. I deliberately blurred the horizon line, to imply the sense of infinity and enhance the feeling of the unknown.

The word "ANTIO" in Greek means farewell, and this painting was my personal way to say goodbye through my art.
