Beneath was inspired by a moment I experienced underwater, when I could see the sky above, the shifting surface of the water, and the seabed below me all at once. It was a quiet, unforgettable moment that gave me a strong sense of being between different worlds. The way the light passed through the water and created soft, moving shapes really caught my attention and became the inspiration for this painting.

In this work, I tried to capture that feeling of being fully immersed, surrounded by space, light, and movement. The shapes and colors are layered to reflect the way things looked and felt from that underwater view. It’s a painting about observation, stillness, and that slightly surreal perspective you only get when you're beneath the surface, looking up.
