Deep was my very first seascape in oil and it remains a personal milestone. I wanted to focus not on the waves or horizon, but on the seabed itself: the patterns of light moving through the water, the calmness and depth of the sea. The entire painting is built around shades of blue, creating a sense of stillness and immersion.

What drew me in was how the sunlight played across the shallow sea floor, casting soft, shifting lines that felt both abstract and real. I took my time with this piece, learning how to use oils to blend color and build transparency. It was a quiet process, and it taught me a lot about patience and focus. This painting marked the beginning of my connection with seascapes.
