A sea on fire. It is unclear whether something is burning far away or it is the sea itself that is on fire.
"Smoke On The Water" depicts the darkness, the violence, the fear, the uncertainty but, also, of hope.

A painter is always affected by international events and this work started in 2020, a difficult year for the whole world due to the pandemic of Covid=19.

To my astonishment, I was shown the figure of a lady appearing among the clouds of smoke. I had never noticed her myself, but I am sure she symbolizes the hope that is always there in dark times, even if she goes unnoticed. (If I could change the title, I’d name this painting “Pandora” )
