TWIN WAVES was inspired by the Cornish sea, where two waves collide in a rare and powerful moment. I was drawn to the idea of two equal forces meeting head-on, creating a dramatic sense of motion and tension. In this painting, I focused on capturing that energy—not only in the crash of the waves but also in the fine details of the ripples and foam beneath the surface.

The color palette is intentionally limited, allowing the form and movement to take center stage. Every swirl and texture plays a role in expressing the rhythm of the sea. TWIN WAVES explores the strength and grace of nature, and how even in chaos, there can be a moment of balance and beauty.
