This painting began without direction. No sketch, no plan. I approached it simply to see what would unfold, letting the image form through intuition and expression. As I worked, the atmosphere took shape on its own: dark clouds gathered, yet a strong, diffused light found its way through, touching the surface of the sea. The horizon remains uncertain, the light source undefined, and the water shifts between calm and turbulence, as if the moment itself is caught between stillness and unrest.

Unsaid reflects that in-between state; the space where thoughts fade and something unspoken begins to take form. It’s a work about trust in the process and about what can be felt but not fully explained. The title holds that silence, the quiet presence that exists beneath words.

The painting is created on a cotton canvas I prepared myself, using a traditional, natural priming technique. This preparation allows the surface to breathe and absorb the paint in a way that feels alive, adding depth and subtle texture to the final image.
