Hidden figures often appear in my seascape paintings: faces, silhouettes, even mermaids emerging from waves and clouds. In this post, I share stories of how these forms were discovered and why I’ve learned to embrace their mystery.

I’ll talk about what inspires me — especially my deep connection with the sea — and how that shows up in my paintings.
